This film tells a one night journey that Eliana and her mother go through. Eliana refuses to go home with his mother and insists on proving her independence although she has lost her job. Being together for a whole night allows the two to start to understand each other and improve their battered relationship.
This film tells a one night journey that Eliana and her mother go through. Five years earlier Eliana flees from her home in Padang since her parents want to marry her off. She chooses to stay in Jakarta. One day when she loses her job and the owner who rented his house to her threatens to expel her. The mother arrives with two tickets and asks Eliana to return to Padang with her. To prove her independence, Eliana roams around town in a rented cab to find her friend’s house Heni to find solutions for her problem. Heni also helps her when she first arrived in Jakarta. Mother is also dragged into this journey. Being together for a whole night allows the two to start to understand each other and improve their battered relationship.
